Why Mindfulness-based practice?

Stress is a sign of the mind being stuck – either the past or in negative predictions. When we use mindfulness-based practices, we bring the mind back to what we know to be true and real (the present moment) we stop indulging the storyteller (the mind). This allows us to break free from our past, and  take action in this moment. Keep in Mind: Set realistic expectations for yourself based on your own personal circumstances (if you’re working with someone else, let them to work out what is realistic for themselves) Everyone (yes even you) needs help sometimes. If you ask for help you’re much  more likely to receive it. If you are working with someone – help them to find their own way (not your  way). It is possible. It takes time
