Yoga Teacher Training Testimonials & Reviews

I got more out of this training than I anticipated. The philosophy, anatomy and physical trainings were so informative. I’ve gained a lot of coincidence in myself and my dreams of teaching. The teachers were more amazing than I could have imagined. The only challenges I faced (other than more physical practice than usual) were personal (mental, emotional) challenges and I was in the perfect place to face them.

This course was an amazing experience where I got to have a period to focus on yoga and how it relates to me. It was a time where I got to learn how to realistically become a yoga teacher. I got to bond and grow with people from very far. I loved philosophy classes and learning different meditation and yoga styles. I found it somewhat challenging to focus, because I lived somewhere else and we didn’t eat at this place. I am very grateful to have begun my journey here and to have beautiful teachers and assistant to guide.

Having expected a physical practice only before the first class the training went way beyond that. The teachers (Marcela, Victor, Jana) gave us a toolbox full of techniques easing my life, i.e. asana practice, meditation as well as breathing techniques. While the 3 weeks of training were intense (more intense, than I expected), I couldn’t be more grateful for the knowledge I gained and the friends that I have made.

The training was one of the best and most intense experiences of my adult life. Initially I wanted to take the training last year in February, just after I finished my PhD in legal philosophy. I was interested especially in the philosophy part back then, learning about Eastern philosophy since so far I had only been studying Western philosophy and I feel that there was an important part missing. But the training got cancelled due to the pandemic. Luckily, the training could take place this year. By now I had a pretty regular Ashtanga practice and my focus had shifted. I was hoping to improve my practice and to learn more difficult poses. But then, just before the training was about to start, I injured my rip and this injury threw me back in my practice.
So at the beginning of the training I was not able to go fully into all the poses as I was used to, and that was mentally really challenging. For the first time, I was not able to do everything with my body the way I was used to. But then, after an initial struggle, I learned to accept and this acceptance opened a door to a full new experience of yoga. Instead of focusing on what I could not do, I started to focus on things I could do and had some real breakthroughs with some asanas.
I learned so much more than I expected: about myself about how to interact with others and about letting go. I met truly wonderful people and found a whole new connection to yoga, which I really look forward to deepen. As our amazing teachers always told us: “Yoga will not give you what you want, but what you need.” Oh, and in the end my rib injury had healed and I was able to do all the poses I was used to, to increase my practice and to even learn some more difficult asanas – but at that point I did not even care about that anymore. Thank you!

This course is great! Great teachers who are passionate about yoga, experienced and knowledgeable. It is a real journey of self-discovery both mentally and physically. The group quickly becomes your family. Everyone is very supportable and respectful of each other. Being one of 3 males in a predominantly female environment was absolutely fine, too! Great to be introduced to different forms of meditation, too, to be able to pick one that suits you, also to enjoy the different forms of yoga apart from Ashtanga. Wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

When initially researching Yoga TTCs All Yoga was the one which stood out to me the most and I am so glad I chose to do my training through them! The teachers are incredible, a great combination of teaching styles and experience. All Yoga have provided me with what feels like a solid foundation to begin my journey onwards as both a yoga teacher and a yogi!

The common factor between every human is fear… fear of failure, I had to take some time to build trust for myself and know that everything was going to be ok in my life. I’ve been doing yoga for a few years but was I truly “doing” yoga? I’ve been following All Yoga for a while and after a few hard months in my life, I decided to book the training in Bali. That all changed with the pandemic and I found myself in Portugal. I found myself among people from all walks of life, looking for the same thing. I saw it in my peers and I saw it in my teachers. The course allowed me to really look deep within myself, within such a loving, supportive community. I am walking away from the training holding hands with my fear, ready for the next endeavor. The challenges I faced were met with compassion from Jana, Victor and Marcela. For that, I am forever grateful.

I embarked on this journey as I have touched on Yoga in various parts of India over the past 25 years. The website looked so good and the course looked very interesting and being in Europe (Portugal) was more doable! Day 1, I was extremely anxious but my Yoga teachers Marcela, Victor and Jana were simply amazing. All the knowledge and practices were so inspiring. The other students were warm and willing to share their insights.
I am extremely happy that I have been able to take onboard so many new concepts, practices, from all the aspects of yoga. The knowledge that I have aquired is mindblowing. The standard of the training is exceptional, the venue cozy and even if you don’t want to become a yoga teacher the journey is an excellent start on your yoga adventure. The dedication of all the people involved in this is exceptional, their professionalism and thoughtfulness is amazing. I would thoroughly recommend this journey. It has truly opened my mind and I have met friends for life. The practice is amazing and so varied!

I loved being part of the YTT and learned a lot about myself, others and yoga. It was a life-changing experience that I don’t want to miss. Meeting other students and the teachers was beautiful. If you want to enter the yoga world in any kind of way, this is the perfect start.

I am so thankful that I chose All Yoga for the teacher training. The teachers were amazing and also the group. Very inspiring, thoughtful weeks with amazing people from all over the world. I just want to say thank you for a wonderful journey.
