This comprehensive 30-day program (plus rest days) is divided into two progressive phases, blending stillness and strength, mobility and control, tradition and modern movement science.

Phase 1: Yin Yoga & Chinese Medicine The first half of the training delves into Yin Yoga, emphasizing stillness, deep tissue release, and energetic balance. This module integrates Chinese Medicine principles, including the 5 Elements, Chi, and meridian theory, providing a holistic understanding of how Yin Yoga supports healing. You’ll explore key postures, effective modifications, and sequencing techniques while developing a trauma-informed approach to teaching.

Phase 2: Rocket Yoga, Strength & Mobility + 5-Day Yoga Philosophy The second half shifts into a dynamic and strength-driven approach, incorporating Rocket Yoga, Vinyasa, Handstands, Strength, and Mobility. These elements are essential for developing control, resilience, and adaptability in practice, bridging flexibility with strength for a more sustainable and injury-free movement experience. Additionally, this phase includes five dedicated days of Yoga Philosophy, exploring the roots of yogic wisdom and its practical application in modern teaching and life.

Module 1

Yin Yoga and Chinese Meridianswith Marcela Mota

300 Hours Yoga Teacher Training

Yin and Yang, fundamental Taoist concepts, describe the opposing yet complementary forces in everything. Yin is internal, passive, and cooling, while Yang is external, dynamic, and warming. In yoga, Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice where poses are held longer to target deep connective tissues and joints. This practice encourages stillness, shifting away from the yang-driven focus on achievement.

Throughout our asana clinics, you’ll explore key Yin postures, learn modifications for different body types, and use props effectively. The 5 Elements framework will guide sequence creation, and we incorporate a trauma-informed approach, nervous system regulation, and how Yin Yoga supports imbalances and life transitions.

Within this module we'll delve into Chinese Medicine with our expert trainer Tobias, teaching you how to see the body through the 5 Elements, Chi, and the 12 energy pathways, deepening your understanding of how Yin Yoga promotes healing and balance. You’ll also explore Medical Qi Gong, meditation, pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and the therapeutic benefits of each Yin asana, ensuring you can teach and practice in a way that supports individual needs.

What you'll learn:

  • Yin & Yang Theory – Understanding their balance in yoga and daily life
  • The Five Elements – Their connection to organs, emotions, and personality
  • Qi & Meridians – How Yin Yoga stimulates energy flow for healing
  • Asana Clinics – Pose modifications, sequencing, and prop use
  • Practice Teaching – Small group and one-on-one teaching experience
  • Trauma-Informed Yin – Nervous system awareness and self-regulation
  • Taoist Medical Qi Gong – Energy practices for health and longevity
Module 2

Rocket Yoga, Handstands, Strength & Mobilitywith Miles Mortensen

300 Hours Yoga Teacher Training rocket yoga

This module combines the dynamic flow of Rocket Yoga with the strength and control of Handstands & Mobility, creating a well-rounded approach to movement, flexibility, and balance.

Rocket Yoga, designed by the late Larry Schultz, is a fast-paced, energizing practice that builds strength, flexibility, and confidence. Rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa principles, it maintains key elements such as Ujjayi breath, bandhas, and steady gaze, while offering accessible modifications for all levels. With intriguing transitions, inversions, and arm balances, Rocket Yoga breaks traditional sequencing rules to bring creativity and personal expression into your practice.

To complement Rocket Yoga, we will dive deep into Handstands & Mobility, refining body awareness, coordination, and balance. A handstand is a skill that requires progressive training and intelligent preparation, so our teachers will guide you through wrist, shoulder, and forearm conditioning, along with essential mobility drills. You’ll work on flexibility, active strength, and proprioception, ensuring your body is ready to go upside down safely and efficiently. In addition to handstands, we’ll explore various movement patterns that challenge coordination, strength, and control—helping you unlock new levels of physical awareness and freedom in your practice.

By the end of this module, you’ll have a stronger, more resilient body, a deeper understanding of inversions and mobility, and the ability to integrate these dynamic elements into your teaching and personal practice.

What you'll explore:

  • Practice and learning of Rocket 1, 2, and 3
  • Ashtanga Tristana methodology: Breath, bandhas, drishti
  • History and philosophy of rocket
  • Hybrid sequencing - expressing yourself in the rocket sequence for peak postures or themed classes
  • Teaching rocket
  • Adjustments
  • Posture breakdowns
  • Workshops: Floating, transitions, inversions, backbends, etc
  • Handstands, Strength & Mobility

Yoga Course Testimonials

Dijana, USA ALL YOGA GRADUATE

What a truly incredible experience. Beyond grateful for everything I have learned in the 5 weeks of the 300 YTT. Thank you David for pouring your heart and soul on that mat. In today’s world, it is rare to find a teacher who teaches with so much passion and integrity. I truly feel fortunate to have had this opportunity to learn from you. Seline, you are a powerhouse of a woman. I am in awe of your strength and so lucky to have been able to get so much knowledge and so many drills to help me on my handstand journey. A huge thank you to Andrew and his love and passion for all things fascia and human anatomy. He has managed to cover so much that is necessary for the students/teachers to learn, in order to implement that knowledge in the future. Also thank you to Dr. Ganesh for diving deep into yoga philosophy, pranayama, Kleshas, Koshas, and Kriyas…. it was incredible how time flew during the lectures, we were all left yearning for more. But I guess that is what an incredible teacher does, truly inspires students to want to learn more, even when the lesson is over.

Miles Mortensen

Originally from Australia, Miles was introduced to yoga and its teachings by his mother. However, it was only after relocating to London in 2013 that Miles truly delved into the practice and began to explore its impact on his life, establishing a healthy connection between his body and mind.

Miles’ teaching foundation is anchored in Ashtanga yoga and its dynamic counterpart, Rocket yoga. Additionally, Dharma has become an integral part of Miles’ personal practice. As a result, Miles’ classes reflect this fusion, offering creative flows that intertwine elements from all three styles, while paying homage to their traditional origins, whilst also incorporating other elements of inspiration from other training disciplines. He strives to create an environment that encourages students to embrace playfulness and exploration, while incorporating the fundamental components that have shaped these practices.

Over time, Miles has devoted himself to honing his craft as a yoga instructor, seeking inspiration from a diverse range of training modalities. Among these, gymnastic strength training and hand balancing have emerged as significant elements in his personal journey. Hand balancing has become a deep passion and a big part of Miles’ training and practice, providing a space internally that reflects the stillness, clarity, and mindfulness Miles has met within yoga.

What has truly fascinated Miles in the exploration of yoga and hand balancing is witnessing the boundless potential of both the mind and body. They intertwine as intricate systems, enabling individuals to push the boundaries of their beliefs.

Miles’ driving force and ultimate passion stem from learning through personal experience and subsequently sharing that knowledge with others, making the practice relatable and applicable, empowering them to enhance their own lives.

David Adame

With a background in contemporary dance, David’s style of teaching focuses on awareness of movement and the connection between the body and mind. Originally from Spain, David followed his yoga journey overseas where he settled his roots in Thailand. He was first introduced to Ashtanga Vinyasa in Asia and instantly took to the practice. Drawn to yoga’s power to create harmonic balance and still the mind, David has a passion for passing on what inspires him to others.

Andrew

Andrew’s interest in human mechanics was ignited at a very early age, starting with judo at age 6 and his teacher insisting on the notion that alignment, compression and extension is all. Later, his GungFu Sifu(s) introducing him to the idea that muscle played a very small role in force generation, that indeed it is the “body’s – silk” (read fascia) that linked movement from the core to the limbs.

Since, Andrew has studied with many movement teachers, body workers and therapists, working with world class elite athletes and the general public.

In his capacity as a Master Personal Trainer, a deep tissue masseuse (using cupping, dry-needling), as the Physical Training Officer for the Fire & Rescue Service of Western Australia, movement coach and physiology & anatomy lead teacher for a number of YTT’s and 300 Hours Yoga Teacher Training, he delved deep into why we can do what we do.

Wendy

Founder of Yoga Seeds, one of Singapore’s most popular yoga studios, Wendy has been passing on her knowledge of yoga since 2010. Holistic balance, therapeutic practices and spiritual development are at the core of her approach to wellness. Her background covers Eastern and Western philosophy, anatomy, meditation and therapy. She brings her Yoga Anatomy classes to life through exploring the inner workings of the mind, body and universe.
